Jamin Katz was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and was adopted at the age of four. He grew up in Groton, Massachusetts and was an athlete and musician for most of his life. At the age of twelve, he started playing the drums and was always involved in his school's musicals. His passion for music took him to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he earned a B.F.A. in musical theater in 2005. After working at the Pasadena, California My Gym location for several years, Jamin is excited to be the Activator who teaches children to express themselves through music and movement.
